“Warriors to Wildfires” is a veteran 501-C3 Non-Profit specializing in United States Veterans from all branches to achieve a new warrior type skill set and assist with transitioning into a good paying civilian career. Warriors to Wildfires trains Vets in Wildfire Suppression and Prescription Burning which helps Vets continue to selflessly serve our great country and protect it’s natural resources.
Our History
Warriors to Wildfires was organized and established by a wildland fire fighter and like minded Vets. We are determined to train veterans to meet the demands of this highly demanding wildfire career. We hold our employees to the highest of standards and have put in place SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to help ensure equality on a every operation.
Our Mission
At Warriors to Wildfires, we offer Veterans a variety of attainable positions that help veterans transition through the career fields of wild-land fire fighting, prescribed burning, fuels mitigation, chain saw operations and more. We will also work to help veterans with wild-fire job placement through federal, state and private work.
If you’re a veteran looking for continued camaraderie with like minded folks, and a career with a sense of purpose greater than one’s self, after ending a military career, then Warriors to Wildfires is a brotherhood that most of you will relate to. The fellow fire fighters you will train and work with have chosen to move beyond the military in a positive way. They have chosen to continue to selflessly put it all on the line to improve and protect our nations natural resources.
